Dr. Paul Schultz received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his internship at Naval Hospital– Oakland, in Oakland, California. After internship he spent three years with the United States Navy serving as a medical officer aboard the U.S.S. Ogden (LPD5). After serving in the United States Navy, Dr. Schultz went on to complete a residency and fellowship in ophthalmology at the prestigious University of Iowa hospitals and clinics. He has been a physician and surgeon for Cataract and Laser Institute since 1993. Dr. Schultz is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Jackson County Medical Society, Iowa Eye Association, and Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology.
